a senior fellow. We're discussing the Iranian use of Hezbollah as a murder

weapon and as a threat to the people of Israel.

Iran is also a threat to the people of the United States and in particular one

the former president of the United States Donald Trump who is now a candidate for

the presidency again the FBI and others detected a plot to kill Donald Trump. I read from the

subhead of the New York Times report. American intelligence agencies were

tracking an Iranian threat even before the attack on

former President Trump in Pennsylvania, but officials said that two were unrelated.

This is several days later or several weeks later.

That I mean, I come to you about this plot.

Certainly, Iran would know that anything that harmed a former president

would immediately bring the US jury in.

It wouldn't be, let's worry about a wider war.

It would be an immediate response such as we were just talking about.

What do you know about this detection of a plot? Were they spoofing us or have they got assassin somewhere in the U.S?

It's an excellent question and one that requires a little bit of the look at the evolving Iran-backed terrorist threat on US soil
