Israel launched a stunning series of strikes on Iranian nuclear sites and killed several of the nation's security chiefs in a remarkable coup of intelligence and military force that decapitated Tehran's chain of command.

I welcome Henry Sikovsky, the executive director of the Non-Proliferation Policy Education Center.

Henry, a very good evening to you.

There are three possible examples among many as to where we go next after this.

Is this Afghanistan?

To paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld, we're running out of targets to bomb.

Is this a rock?

We take over the country with awe.

And yet, the guerrilla force takes over, takes the country back.

Or is this Korea, a divided peninsula for 70 years?

Good evening. Great to be on your program again. Well, I suppose the one example that is the

richest of the three, each could be milked for some insights, would be North Korea.

I say that because the next thing we've got to be waiting for,

or as it might happen,

because Iranians have threatened to do it,

is to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Blyferation Treaty

and then presumably at some point

get a nuclear weapon, which is what happened previously with North Korea, a country that

Iran is very friendly with and may have learned or thought about what the North Koreans went through
