We have a little update here.

Some have been wondering many had grown concerned

that the current reality of face unlock exclusivity

would be a thing that we were gonna have to live with

for a long period of time.

And it appears that that concern might not,

it might not be necessary because

we've been talking about the potential for

some sort of touch-based unlock for iOS users,

for iPhone users in the next generation.

iPhone 13 models likely now to have touch ID

under the display.

I don't know why Apple has resisted this particular feature

because it's actually been there for a while now

on Android side.

And you can do it in conjunction with Face ID.

It doesn't necessarily have to be one or the other.

Now, the only strange bit here is that

when they put out that new iPad,

they put the touch ID into the power switch.

And so some were saying, okay, that's fine.

Let's just do that and skip over to the end display unlock
