Leading off today, Apple is working on a new framework that will allow third-party photo apps to backup images more reliably.

0:20.1

Alongside the likely final stages of development before iOS 26.1 is released, this new

0:26.3

framework is also in the works inside Apple. Apple detailed this new framework in a post on its

1:33.6

But again, this new photo kit development should solve those problems and open a vast

1:38.0

new world of backup opportunities for iPhone users.

1:41.7

Next up today, Apple might have a big expansion of its iPad apps in store.

1:46.2

A report says that Apple could soon release four new iPad apps, PixelMator Pro, Mainstage, Motion, and Compressor.

1:54.0

These are currently pro-level apps from Apple that are exclusive to the Mac. They would join Apple's
