Leading off today, Apple is planning a major display upgrade for three future products,

0:18.1

according to a new report from Bloomberg's Mark German.

0:20.8

The same report also points to a significant upgrade coming specifically for the iPad Mini.

0:26.7

The report says that Apple is testing future versions of the MacBook Air, the iPad Air, and the iPad Mini that feature OLED screen technology.

0:36.1

Apple currently uses OLED technology in the iPhone, iPad Pro, and Apple Watch.

0:41.2

And we've talked before about Apple's work on OLED versions of the MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pro, it likely wants to wait at least another year to ensure that that's a differentiation

1:34.5

between the Air and the Pro in Apple's lineup. So with all of that said, the soonest I would

1:40.3

expect an OLED MacBook Air would be sometime in late 2027 or more likely early 2028.

1:48.2

Bloomberg goes on to say that the iPad Mini will be the first to make the switch to OLED.

1:53.1

Additionally, Bloomberg says that Apple is developing a new water-resistant design for the iPad Mini.

1:58.8

As part of this, Apple has explored a new speaker system that uses

2:02.4

vibration-related technology. The change allows Apple to remove the speaker holes where water
