It's going good, how are you?

I'm good. I've been on vacation slash like a stay-cation situation this week.

So this is the first time I've really sat down at a computer since last Friday and I was telling you before we

started recording it's like a miracle that I made it on time because I woke I woke up this

morning and my phone was dead like completely dead so like none of the

alarms went off and but I made it we're here I've just been like falling asleep

wherever that's because that's because your iPhone 14 pro battery so

the grade yeah 92% didn't make it overnight but keep the segue going of the

non-issue yeah but yeah I've just been like falling asleep wherever I fall asleep like so last night I fell asleep watching baseball on the couch and woke up and it was like 830 and my phone was dead and I was super disoriented. But we're here and we have some stuff to talk about yeah I can't say you've missed

a lot it's not been the most it's not been the most delightful week in terms of all expansive

week in terms of news it's in terms of news. It's a bit of the August

lull right. Yeah the few times I checked the site throughout the week it seems like

the dominating story is about the cables that are coming with the iPhone 15 but I think like you I'm pretty skeptical

that these cables are actually for the iPhone 15 so can you tell us about this I've braided

USBC? Obviously we know the iPhone 15 is going to

to USBC on both the base model and the pro model. The port will be changing

from lightning to a USBC port which will bring the iPhone in line with Apple's other products, right?

The Mac, the iPad.

We think that this change or the timing of this transition is mostly based on the fact that the EU is enforcing it from next year,

that they're basically forcing fan manufacturers to use this port,

and so Apple's kind of going along going along with the flow.
