Mayo you made an upgrade to your desk setup is that right that I think everyone's incredible

yeah you want to tell us about what you did and why you did it well I used to use this same

microphone it's a road podcaster with a desk stand thing and it was fine

for a while and then like I don't know about eight months ago people start to complain they could hear this weird

drumming banging noise on the recording on the show which was annoying and I tried various different

things and it never really changed it and then I wanted to get an arm

originally but my desk is like more like a table because I haven't got like a proper desk at the moment

so it wouldn't really fit so it was a bit of a nightmare but then enough people

were going to complain I was like let me try something else so I've Jerry rigged a

arm and Mike arm onto like this like sit-stamplin thing I've got which isn't really most

meant to be because now that the sit-stand bit has to always be elevated because it's not

really meant to be used like this but I've basically just like done it as an interim measure and it's

quite quote seems to have worked I've been using the last like two episodes and nobody said that there's the

audio the banging noise anymore so I'm very happy that this 25 pound fix that I can't

I just brownie boar of Amazon is doing the job for now probably next year I'll do

like a proper office renovation with like a proper desk and stuff and get like a different arm or whatever but this works and for 20

quid it's pretty good it does slip around a little bit but I couldn't really

complain for the price.

Your desk in the pictures you've sent me it is the

thickest I guess it's a table but yeah I think this thing I've ever seen it.

When I moved to this house I I had this like I had a desk in my old office in the cabin but that's like it was like an old

desk someone gave like some parent gave me so it was like you know super heavy wood
