0:00.0	Hey, it's Andy. Happy Thanksgiving. Welcome to the Andy Staple show. This is a new opening to the show that I am recording on Wednesday night because we tried to record a little bit early so that everybody could have

0:39.9	But that's just how this season has gone. So tons of news on Wednesday. You will hear Ari Wasserman
0:46.5	and I talking about a lot of games, and some news has affected some of those games. First and foremost,
0:53.2	Nick Saban has tested positive for COVID-19. This time,
0:57.0	it's not a false positive. He was exhibiting some mild symptoms. He's isolated. Doesn't seem like
1:02.8	Alabama has a problem among the players or the rest of the coaches. So the Iron Bowl is still on,
1:08.2	but Nick Saban will not be coaching in it. Steve Sarkeesian will be leading
1:11.4	Alabama. Now, what makes this interesting, and the reason we left the entire conversation between
1:15.4	me and Ari in about the Iron Bowl is the spread didn't change. Nick Sabin is out for the game,
1:21.9	the potentially greatest coach in the history of college football, out for this game. The spread
1:26.4	remains Alabama minus 24 and a half,
1:29.1	which, as you'll hear, I think, is really high, given what we've seen from Auburn of late.
1:34.4	Auburn has improved quite a bit since they lost to South Carolina, they destroyed LSU,
1:40.3	they beat Tennessee, they look like an improved team.
1:44.6	They do not look like a team that's going to go get shelled by four scores,
1:47.9	even against potentially the best team in the country.
1:50.1	So I think that game's really interesting.
1:52.8	A lot more fascinating subplots now because Nick Saban won't be there.
