Well, today we're wrapping up our series called Invisible God. And if you haven't been with us,

I'll catch up in just a minute. But as we said at the outset, this is not a comprehensive

series on the spirit of God. But we wanted to look at it from a different perspective. And

specifically, the very first week, we began with this idea that Moses introduced us to

with the Rua of God, this word in the Hebrew language that's translated spirit in Genesis 1 and 2

and 3 and then throughout the Old Testament. And this word Rua, while it's translated spirit,

it can also be translated, if you remember, it can be translated wind or breath or conscious or

mind. And these are things that are telling us something about the spirit of God, the thing

that these all have in common is that they're all invisible animating energies. And so you don't

get freaked out if this is your first time here, you need to go back and check out the series.

This is not some new age idea. This is another way to say that there's an unseen power of God

that's at work in our world. And his presence is felt and experienced through his invisible

animating energy, this unseen power in our world. And it's a power for creating. We said the first

week that the spirit has this power for creating specifically, creating order from chaos, that in our

lives and it's similar to the very beginning of creation that the spirit of God took chaos and he
