So here's one of the most familiar passages or verses in the Bible.

And it's something that I feel like everybody can pretty much agree on or get on board with.

Now, even if you're not a person of faith or even if you're a person of a different faith,

this was written in like the, I don't know, the 7th century BC. So this is like way before Jesus,

way before the Bible. This is the prophet Micah. And he makes this statement that's just generally

true. I mean, it's hard to get around this. Here's what he wrote. You've heard this before.

Maybe you've heard this before and didn't know it was in the Bible. He writes,

he's talking about God. He has shown you a mortal. That's a new translation. You know,

it's more of a Gandalf thing. He has shown you a man, you know, think Gandalf a little bit. I don't

know. Anyway, he has shown you a mortal. God has what is good? The God has made evident to most

of humanity, what is good and what the Lord of what God requires of you. In other words, God has

made it evident good from that and right from wrong and God has made it evident what God wants

for me and what God wants from you. Then he tells us. He says, here it is. Here's what God wants to

act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God, justice, mercy, humility. These are

things we like in other people. We all want to be treated with justice and we all want to be shown
