here today with Aaron, the NerdSoup, Mookie, and we are back to review Invincible Season

2.

It's been a long time coming, about 30 months since the end of Season 1, which I felt

like took over 30 months.

Yeah, 30 months, yeah, it's been about two and a half years since Invincible Season

1, that's 2021, right?

Sounds right.

Yeah, I guess so.

Like, you know, when it first dropped, some people were familiar with Invincible having

read the comics, but as the season went on, it kept bringing in more and more fans, and

by that final episode eight, it really had taken over the internet.

I remember seeing that Omni-Man meme think, Mark think, so many people remixed it and put

their spin on it, and a lot of people just enjoyed this show, similar to the boys, where

it's a bit more graphic, bit more bloody, bit more mature, subverting some of those superhero

cliches and tropes that we've become familiar with over the last few decades, because there's

been so many superhero shows and movies, but this is just a real refreshing new take on

the genre, or an adaptation of a new take that came out in the mid-2000s, very similar
