Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of Nurd soup I am Bo Oliver joined here today with Aaron the Nurd soup monkey and we are back to review

Asoka well technically it's Star Wars Asoka which is the latest show taking place in the Star Wars universe from Disney Plus,

starring the character that goes back to the 2003 animated movie, the first Clone Wars production production and then the show followed that so have you ever seen that animated film?

I've like watched sporadically not the movies but like did the series and watched a lot of clips.

Well the movie when it came out it was considered to be one of the worst movies ever made and

a Soka's character was panned. People found her to be very annoying and the writing

wasn't it was very much a snappy, wise-cracking side kick.

It was very generic.

And then the series did flesh her out through her relationship with Anakin.

And I'm sure you've seen some of like the duels and the did flesh her out through her relationship with Anakin.

And I'm sure you've seen some of like the duels and the fights and stuff like that.

I watched a lot of like YouTube clips of Clone Wars and rebels,

but never really sat down and watched it throughout.

Which I think probably would have benefited this series because it did seem like more of a

rebels series or a sequel than an ASOCA series.

Oh yeah, yeah, definitely.

When people were saying these are the episodes of

rebels you should watch if you don't get a chance to watch the entire series,

well we'll get into that as we review the show because people were saying that would

benefit you going into it. I don't necessarily agree with that.

Because I've seen Clone Wars, I haven't seen rebels, but I've watched some of the big scenes, some of the big moments. I know the

characters. I know Ezra, I know Sabine and Ezra's mentor Jedi mentor I can't remember his name right now

...
