Glad to have you here. I've known about you for quite a long time, and I'm glad to have a chance to actually chat with you.

You're up in the, I guess, kind of the northeast area, and you're in New Jersey, right?

Well, actually, I started investing in New Jersey, talked about this, I think, about a year ago,

and I love this topic. So how did you get started in tax liens? This was about 2002. I was living in

New Jersey at the time. We had sold our condo the year before. We had three growing boys. When we moved into the condo, it was a two-bedroom

condo. We had our first baby. And now we had three growing boys and we wanted a house to live in,

a three-bedroom house with a yard where the kids could play and not worry about all condo

association rules. And we couldn't find anything at that time. This was

2001. Prices were starting to go up. There was nothing available. We figured, well, if we couldn't

buy, we would rent. Well, there was nothing available in the town where we lived. And we even went out

to another county and couldn't find a house that we could afford.

We rented for a while in the town that I grew up in, in Milburn, New Jersey. And I was reading,

I was reading books like multiple streams of income, rich dad, poor dad. They just said a little bit about tax lien investing.

So it kind of piqued my interest and I wanted to learn more. So the only book in print back
