0:21.7	today, Aaron? Hey, Kirk, doing pretty well. How you do? I'm doing great. We're excited to have you on the show.
0:26.4	I know this is a topic we talk about here and there in terms of real estate, but this is a little bit of a
0:31.3	different spin on it, something we haven't really talked about before, which is focusing on syndications and apartments. I'm glad we have you
0:38.7	on the show here. Maybe you can tell the listeners a little bit about yourself so we can get a little
0:42.4	at your background. Well, I've been in real estate about 10 years, and people's capital group
0:46.7	has been around about eight years. That's our company here. I owe with my partner, Seth Martinez,
0:51.4	and he's more in charge of operations and working with our management
0:54.2	company, and I'm more on branding and fundraising. I actually got star as a realtor about 10 years ago
1:00.2	and a real tough time to get started during the recession there, but I always had a passion to own
1:05.1	real estate. I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad in college and really inspired me to own real estate and find a good tax strategy. So,
1:12.9	you know, I got started as a realtor, very tough beginning, but I eventually was able to save up
1:16.9	enough money to buy a six family with my partner, Seth Martinez, and we bought it, we renovated
1:22.9	it, we got it fully leased up, and we refinanced our money back out and we raised more capital. We
1:29.0	kept on repeating that. So we're going to, we'll go into that during the session here,
1:32.3	how to buy, renovate, refinance strategy works. But it's a great tool in real estate and allowed
1:37.0	us to build up to about 100 units over five years. And, you know, really allowed me to build
