Pete usually here's where I crack some kind of lame joke or try to get you to

giggle or whatever, but this one we're gonna start a little bit differently. This one of the voices of the Boston Celtics, Tommy Hinton passed away today, and not just of the Boston Celtics, the not just of the Boston Celtics, the

not just of the Boston Celtics, but really of the NBA for a lot of people and you know

while you and I are heavily invested in this rivalry between the Lakers and the Celtics,

you and I both, I would imagine. I can remember exactly where I was when Chick Hearn passed away.

Today probably really sucks for a lot of Celtics fans.

And he's been around. I mean he was a Celtic in the 50s and 60s, a Hall of Fame.

He's up there in Championships 1. He was a Hall of Fame player and then in the 80s I believe was hired as their color commentator was that for nearly 40 years and so he's one of those he has been he was a basketball lifer and he was somebody who was synonymous with the Celtics and the fan experience of Celtics fans and like you said despite the rivalry basketball lost a lifer and lost one of the people who

shaped how we how we view basketball how we have watched it over the last 40 years and

definitely I wish his family peace and may he rest in peace.

Yeah that's that's basically exactly what I was going to say is that you know

he's he's an NBA legend he's somebody who very sincerely loved the game of

basketball and you know probably taught a whole bunch of people about the game you know and so when you lose somebody like this when you lose anybody who you know this many people across the entire
