0:55.9 | as a kid. I was told it was easy. You say, I forgive you and that's it. You'd forgiven. |

1:04.8 | You're taking it back to a really hard time. Let me tell you the story, how it happened. |
1:11.1 | A few years ago, I embarked on a journey to find out what forgiveness really is, what |
1:16.5 | it consists of. I talked with people who are able to forgive actions that most of us would |
1:21.6 | consider to be unforgivable. In that crash, my wife, who was carrying a five-month developing |
1:30.6 | son that we were so excited to have, she was killed instantly. |
1:34.8 | You hate me, I hate you more. And I felt like somehow we were equal because now I hate |
1:39.2 | them too. It was literally the worst experience of my life and I wouldn't wish that on anyone |
1:48.2 | in the world. I also talked with people who are on the receiving end of forgiveness about |
1:52.2 | how someone's ability to forgive them gave them a second chance at life. |
1:56.5 | On my knees and my chest on the ground and my arms all the way out and I was crying on |

2:05.4 | I wouldn't be here today, I can tell you that. I mean, not physically, I wouldn't be here |
