Hey there, it's me, Liel. I know, I know, it's's a Monday and we don't usually come to you so early in the week

But this week is different because this week tomorrow to be exact. We're debuting a brand new show. We think scratch, we know you're going to love.

It's called Reform, examining the challenges and choices of America's largest Jewish movement,

and it's all about how Reform Judaism was born

to answer the challenges of being Jewish in the modern era, how it met five major decisions that

reshape not only the movement but American Jewish life writ large and what these

decisions have to teach us today. In the aftermath of October 7th, so many of us are wrestling

to figure out just how to be Jewish in a world that seems increasingly

hostile to Jews.

The show is hosted by a Reform Rabbi, Rabbi Diana Fersko, and by Reform very much not at all a Rabbi, not even close,

producer Josh Cross.

We'll drop the entire first episode on this feed tomorrow, but we just wanted you to build up an appetite

so here is my conversation with Josh and Rabbi Firstko followed by a little snippet from the show

Here's the first question, however, it seems like a weird notion to introduce at this moment in time

we're going on the one year anniversary of October 7th. There is so much anti-Semitism, there's so much,

well there's so much tension. We're coming up on an election year.
