I have been listening to the all-new season of Planet Visionaries.

It's a podcast hosted by Alex Honnold.

You probably recognize his name from the movie Free Solo,

where he climbed El Capitan without ropes.

And on Planet Visionaries, Alex turns his focus to the biggest challenge of all,

protecting the only planet we've got.

And episodes span the globe,

from Arctic scientists and Amazon Forest Guardians

to entrepreneurs, reimagining fashion and food systems.

And I know it can be hard to remain optimistic

in the face of a massive challenge like climate change.

But this show believes optimism isn't naive. It's a strategy.

And the stories you'll hear on planet visionaries proves that a better future is already being

built. One of my favorites from this season features one of my heroes, Chris Tompkins, a conservationist

and former CEO of Patagonia, who shares how her work has conserved millions of acres of land in South America, some of which I've even spent nights in.

And I hear there's an upcoming episode that I'm really looking forward to.

It's with Ben Meerman, who is a wildlife sound recordist explorer and educator who combined science, music, and storytelling to inspire

environmental conversation through the art of field recording and live performances using
