Unfictional is a program of true stories and personal documentaries and today on the program some very

exciting news especially if you're a fan of beautifully made intelligent

podcasts you may already be familiar with the Here Be Monsters Podcast. It's been featured on this

program a number of times and there's a good reason for that. Producers Jeff Emptman and Bethany

Denton create stories that take your head to brand new places.

So I'm very happy to announce that the Here Be Monsters podcast is now a part of KCRW's independent

producer project along with strangers, the organist, and of course this program.

And on this episode of Unfictional, we'll hear two stories, beginning with the first episode

of the new season of Here Be Monsters, which began this week.

It's the story of a young man who set off to study in a remote village in the

Cascade Mountains of Washington State with a small group of strangers and him the outsider.
