Here's how I want you to think about this show. It's like when you walk up to a friend's house

and you ring the doorbell and your friend opens the door and welcomes you with a big warm hug

and maybe they have a puppy who jumps on you a little too much, but mostly that's cute.

And you and your friend can cozy up

and have some tea or maybe something stronger and you just share with each other. You commiserate,

you snack, you laugh a lot, you unpack what's been bugging you, and you talk about the stuff that is

bringing you total unfettered delight. In other words, if you are already familiar with more recent

episodes of my old show,

Nerdette, you are going to feel right at home. But this is happy to be here. Happy to be here is an

interview podcast for the recovering perfectionist and the perpetually curious. It's going to be

full of conversations that you can sink your teeth into so you can learn a little about almost everything.
