Hey there, we've got a new batch of arm and leg stories starting in a few weeks and

meanwhile I want to introduce you to one more show I think you're going to like.

You might remember last year we brought you the story of how Philadelphia tried to hand

off its COVID vaccination program to a wannabe tech bro right out of college.

It was part paper, part tragedy.

You might also remember our episode was built on the work of reporter Nina Feldman and

her colleagues at WHYY, Philly's public radio station.

They had reported that story in real time and exposed the whole wild disaster.

Well since then, Nina and her colleagues have taken the time to lay out the entire thing

in a podcast of their own called HAP VACTS.

It's terrific.

It's funny in places, horrifying in others and full of luck.

It was 8 a.m. on a chilly Friday and early January.

Inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center, nurses scurried around in scrubs preparing

trays of syringes, TV cameras filed in and set up for their perfect shot.

Things were abuzz with excitement.

A mass vaccination site is now up and running in center city Philadelphia for healthcare

workers.

The site at the convention center opened this morning.

This was the launch of Philly's first mass vaccination clinic.
