And it's a podcast series about motherhood, sisterhood, and burgeoning womanhood.

We're going to talk about sex, drugs, body issues, friends, family,

and anything else I can think of the girls and their mothers wrangle with every day.

We will explore insecurity, power, jealousy, support networks, and possibility, I hope.

In this inaugural episode, I'm speaking with my old friend and one of America's most beloved

sex experts, Emily Morse.

Emily is a doctor of human sexuality, an author, and the host of the award-winning podcast, Sex with Emily, which has been on the air for almost two decades.

What?

So sex, of course, it's one of these topics that most of us love to talk about.

But I was a little delinquent about giving my girls a primer on the birds and the bees. But sex does seem to be something

my girls want to talk about, if not with me, then at least with Emily. This first episode ran

quite long, so we're releasing it in two parts.

In part one, Emily and I set the scene for talking to girls about sex. And then Emily sat down

with Phoebe, my eldest, and then with Andine, my midlist. So go back, listen to that first episode, if you missed it.
