Today we have something, I would say, unexpected. We have the return of the Micah interview

this time with Brett Alder. If you don't know who Brett Alder is, then you're probably not alone.

Brett Alder is the person who wrote the piece about Austin that was featured last weekend,

Micah's Rita the Week the newsletter, which is available now.

That being said, I was pretty hard on Mr. Alder. He was the

the story behind Brett is that he moved his family from California to Austin and he did

like it and he had a lot of complaints. I'll let you read the whole thing in

last week's mind or Mike is of insulting. He said that Austinites were rude.

The Austin was expensive, which, you know, some of these things may be true.

Austin drivers can't drive.

The allergies are bad.

But then he also complained about how much it cost to heat and cool his 4,000 square

foot house that his family lived in with a pool.

And most egregiously, he talked about how Austin doesn't have a lot of different terrain within

he picked a seven hour drive of which we'll talk about in the piece.

Anyway, let me also say one other thing.

I don't know if Brett read Mike is Reed of the Week. I reached out to him on Twitter on my verified

Twitter account at Michael Weiner and he agreed to do an interview we went

back and forth and he was very kind and very nice with his time when we recorded this on Sunday.

So I want to thank him again for being a part of this.
