Guaranteed Human. Hold on. Every day I wake up. The breakfast club. You're all finished or y'all is done. Morning everybody. It's DJ NV. Jess Hilarious. Sholomey and the Guy. We are the Breakfast Club. Today we have our sister's Angela Rye and Miss Mimi Brown joining us this morning. Yes, indeed. We got a special guest in the building. We have Roe Conner, U.S. representative from California's 17th Congressional District. Good morning. Good morning. I'm excited to be back. All right. How are you feeling? I feel good. I'm recovering from a cold, but I'm better now. Do you feel like there's a target on you, real? Yes.

For all, everything that you're doing?

Well, my guy said, I've taken on too many fights. Yeah. I took on the Epstein class. Absolutely. I've taken on... I don't think we would have the Epstein file if it wasn't for, you know, the legislation that y'all implemented. Yeah, the survivors get the most correct. But then Massey and I, you know, when we started that, it was way uphill. And people thought we were crazy. So we've taken on some very powerful people. Then I've taken on APEC. They don't like me. Then Massey and I are doing the Iran War Powers resolution this Thursday. So there's a lot of the

1:16.4

Bernie Sanders and I are talking about taxing billionaires. So the billionaires are upset at me.

1:22.7

more fights against the established class of this country. And, you know, I joke around because

1:34.8

I'm not the most charismatic person, but I say courage is the new charisma. What people want is

1:39.9

actual conviction, people who are going to stand up for working class, middle class families

1:45.7

against folks who rig the system. Well, my first question is you talked about picking a lot of fights.

1:51.7

I think that that is important given the fact that we are hearing over and over again that

1:55.5

the Democratic Party writ large, especially in Congress, is not picking enough fights.

2:00.5

What was the intention behind working with

2:03.8

Congressman Massey? Do you all see a growing portfolio of how you all will work together, or was this

2:10.5

just two people trying to do the right thing because that's what the moment required?

2:14.5

We started out being against war, you know, the famous line, you got money for war,

2:20.2

but not for the poor.

2:21.6

That's Tupac's quote.

2:23.4

A modification, but yes.

2:25.6

I can't wrap, but I know the lines.

2:27.9

I know the basic lines.
