| 0:53.0 | Yeah, so I was always on the revenue side. So my family used to joke that I was the guy with the sideways visor in the ticket office just slinging tickets. |
| 1:01.0 | And the reality is back in 2005, that wasn't too far off from the truth. |
| 1:06.0 | I was literally selling the unsellable. |
| 1:09.0 | I worked for the then LA Clippers when Kobe and Shaq were on the other side of the hallway. |
| 1:13.0 | ESPN called us the worst brand in sports. |
| 1:16.0 | Then sports illustrated says you're the worst franchise in sports history. |
| 1:20.0 | And you got to sell that. So the good news is there's very little traffic on the road of success when that's what you need to monetize. |
| 1:30.0 | But I figured it out. And so that starts as fast track 15 year journey with three different NBA teams from sales to sales leadership roles and then eventually breaking some Super Bowl revenue records at the NFL league office. |
| 1:43.0 | And most recently I was chief revenue officer for the San Francisco 49ers. So really just a track record of walking through fires that ranges from being environments where calling cavernick was kneeling and you somehow need to overcome that type of adversity. |
| 1:58.0 | All the way through to almost losing your team the permanent relocation or league wide labor lockouts. |
| 2:04.0 | So really when I talk to audiences the universal application of this is. |
| 2:09.0 | If those things were defensive environments so I consider defense adversity setbacks hurdles obstacles. |
