Hello, friends, Greg Kogel here at Standar Reason.

I actually had somebody this last weekend when I was, where was I, in Detroit?

And they asked me about that noise that comes at the end of the introduction, that

what was that?

He thought it was a mistake.

No, that was actually me making a rooster sound about 40 years ago. Now, it was more like 30 years ago. And somebody in the

studio when I was at KBRT recorded it. I was goofing around making animal sounds. And it just

became part of the show. In fact, I've got a squeaky rooster right here that someone gave me. I don't touch it

very often because it's noisy. But that's what that is. That's just me making a rooster sound.

And it's become an icon. We'll probably never get rid of it. So anyway, speaking of noise,

um, standard reason is always trying to think of new ways to impact not only the world

with what we can do well and, uh, also in the process help you do that better too.

It's a training tool.
