I've heard you interview other women and every time I thought, oh, I want to be interviewed

someday. I want to share my story. I want to help people. So thank you for so much for having me here.

Yeah, and I love that today is the day. It happened.

You got points. I'm sorry. Will you? Let's start from the beginning, which is how did you meet

your ex-husband? You're now ex-husband. And when did you feel like were the first signs that

something might not be right with the drinking? Good question. Yeah, so there was a huge time span.

I think between then and then. So we met because we worked for the same company. And I was looking

for a running partner. And I noticed that he was a runner at the company gym. And I approached him

just as a friend so that we could run outside. And so we were friends for about six months before

we even began dating. And it was we dated about two years before we married. And then it was we

were married for six years before I noticed something was different. And so I didn't know when I

married him that I had married a man who struggled with alcohol. And it probably because

he hit it for me, he could cause a drinker. And he was earlier in the like the progression of his

disease. So I think he was able probably at times to hold off from drinking for a long period

of time. And then a significant event happened six years into our marriage. His father passed away

suddenly and tragically. And then I started to see things. And I didn't grow up with addiction

in my immediate family. So I had zero exposure to it. And I didn't know what it looked like or
