And today from our Westminster offices, I am joined by. Georgia Roberts, journalist based in Westminster. And sitting next to me, we have Christine Jarden, Liberal Democrat MP for Edinburgh West.

We have all sorts of things going on in politics to talk about.

It feels very, very busy at the moment, a lot of turmoil at Westminster,

particularly around this Rwanda bill that's going on today.

Also, I guess, big developments in Scottish politics, like the gender reform ruling last week.

But I kind of also would like to talk to you about you and your party, because I was thinking about your patch up here in Edinburgh.

And I think there is actually a ward in your seat, isn't there, where the Lib Dems, they've got all three council seats, which is supposed to be impossible.

And there's also Lib Dem MP and MSP.

It got me thinking about the fact that the Lib Dem support is incredibly strong in some

parts of the country.

I actually also live in that ward, so they have Lib Dem MP resident.

It's Kirstorfen and Murrayfield. Although, to be fair, some of the Murrayfield part of the ward is it's not. It's got an SMP. I only mention that because somebody's bound to correct me if I forget. But yeah, it's incredibly strong. That's the kind of technical detail we live for in this podcast, so that's good.

You know, there are lots of places in Scotland when that happens.

I mean, North East Fife has an MSP and an MP and several councillors.
