So first of all, why now? Why put out this album now? What made you want to do it right now? Why not now? That's a bigger question. And what took so long is an even a bigger question. That is the two questions. These are energies that's needed right now in the space where my music and my genre

of music is concerned, record dance and music.

So we want to invigorate that space again with music where people can gravitate to us

because it does resonate.

Now there's many different elements of Buju, right?

There's the conscious Buju,'s the dance hall boojoo.

There's the more hip-hop boo-joo. I would say I'm just musical. I'm just a musical farcet that keeps flowing, you know? On this project, which element would you say? Dance-a-old. This is 100% dance-all. This is the Genesis. This was how I was introduced to the masses. and through the passage of time, you have to grow or else you'll become monotonous, you know? So the growth is always something where but make sure we grow and reinvent yourself. This is what's the third in the studio album. So we take it back to the foundation, to basics. Right, that too too bad. How do we get it back to the days when growing up, you would hear dance hall on the radio, right? It didn't matter, right? It would be, you would hear your hip-hop song, but the dance hall was all part of one. Then it became a separation somewhere where I feel like dance hall and reggae music is not represented on urban radio as much.
