Well, stable coins are just as programmable as CBDCs in every single way.

You're, instead of trusting the government to not restrict the spending conditions, you're trusting a private company, some of which, many of which aren't even domiciled in the United States, don't even have constitutional protections of free speech or whatever, whatever have you.

And it's every bit as dangerous as the government

having programmability over your money.

It's just a private company.

Well, maybe, and maybe not.

The devil, as always, is in the details.
