Hello and welcome to Good Food on Earth. I am joined today by James Corbett of the Corbett Report

and open source intelligence news website you can find online that has podcast, interviews, articles,

documentaries, including on how big oil conquer the world and why big oil conquer the world,

and much more. It was started in 2007, and James himself is an award-winning investigative journalist.

And I wonder if you could tell us a little bit about why you started this, and then we'll go on from there.

It was essentially not anything that I ever planned to do in my life.

I had absolutely no intention or inclination to start a website or to start a podcast or anything of the sort.

But it was in 2006 that I started examining, first of all, it was 9-11 Truth,

and then I started to get into other subjects. And I found there was an incredible amount of

interesting and compelling and documentable evidence on various subjects that I had never

learned in school or read in the newspaper or anything of that sort,

incredibly important context to the world that I was living in.

And I found the discrepancy between that information that I was able to independently verify for myself

through direct looking at documents and archives and other such things versus what was being

presented to me through the

media and education system and what have you. That disconnect was so large, so profound that I felt

I had to insert myself into that in some way. And since we are living in the age of the internet,

what a glorious age to be able to spread information around the world. I did that really because I felt compelled to do something.

And I never in a million years would have imagined that I would be able to reach millions,

literally millions of people around the globe.

It's still incomprehensible to me.
