This is the Bert show. Kristin, it's a sad week around these parts.

Yeah, over the next couple of weeks we're going to have some sad days because our summer interns are

getting pushed out of the Bert show nest and hopefully not plummeting to their

death.

Our intern, Evan Kane, this is his last day from Rhodes College, man.

What have you learned in your time here with the

Birchell and were you even interested in broadcasting before this and are

you more interested same interest less interest in being in radio.

So when I came on, my original career goal is to be a sports broadcaster.

And this overall was just such an incredible experience just to see kind of

like how a radio show operates because that's a really big part of sports

media too and I really just want to thank you guys for giving me this opportunity because it's it's just been awesome and a really big part of it

I'm gonna kind of use this time to make a PSA to my dad has colorectal cancer and he received some pretty bad news last week and for

him to hear me actually on the radio has been huge for him so it's just been really great for him to be able to experience that and I want to thank you
