It's been a busy 24 hours in Minnesota. Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar was sprayed with an unknown substance while hosting a town hall in Minneapolis last night.

Omar was not injured, and she declined a medical check and just kept on talking.

A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault. CNN caught up with

Omar after the attack. No, I've survived war, and I'm definitely going to survive intimidation

and wherever these people think they can throw at me because I'm built that way.

Yesterday, President Donald Trump said he plans to de-escalate a little bit in the state,

as Borders-Ar Tom Holman has arrived in Minnesota to handle the immigration crack down there.

Although Trump's tone seems to have shifted again this morning on true social,

he attacked Minneapolis-Marg Jacob Fry for, quote,

playing with fire if he doesn't enforce federal immigration laws. Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C., a source tell CNN that Senate Republicans are weighing whether to give in to Democrats on making

changes to ice practices and a spending bill vote. Another government shutdown is looming at the end

of this week if the funding bill isn't

passed. It's a huge day at the Federal Reserve. We'll talk about that in a bit. Stick around.
