Summary

With young children, the years might speed by, but the days can feel like they go on forever. It's tempting to live for the next big milestone, fun moment, or restful break. Instead of asking, "How can I be faithful in this moment for the glory of God?" we find ourselves asking, "How can I burn through the next few hours and just make it to bedtime?" In this episode, Emily and Laura identify with this common trap, and discuss ways to keep our eyes on our primary mission. 0:53.4	We finally made the jump and we thought on Instagram, which I know has been around forever,
0:59.0	but we just arrived as risen motherhood. Yeah. Where risen motherhood is out of the dark
1:05.1	ages, I feel like we kept debating back and forth on just, you know, there's a lot that goes into
1:10.4	another profile. So, but we're excited to be over there. And we know there's a lot of you guys
1:15.4	already over there. So go find us at risen motherhood. Made it easy. It's felt just like it sounds,
1:21.1	nothing complicated. Yeah, we're excited too because they introduced those stories. They
1:27.6	really copied Snapchat and in Lauren, I were like debating about whether or not we should get on
1:33.4	snap packs. We don't want to be old ladies, but it's also hard. So when they introduced that,
1:39.5	we were like, oh, done. We're so on Instagram. I know I was so glad because I had a friend
1:44.4	like teaching me Snapchat and I literally felt like a baby with an iPad for the first time.
1:49.0	Like I was just like beating on it and then like something happened. I don't know what I did.
1:52.9	You know, like Snapchat is not intuitive and totally old lady. And it was kind of funny because
1:57.5	the moment I figured it out and see him introduce those stories things. And I was just like,
2:02.4	peace out Snapchat. Like it was real for the very few moments that I were on. I was on use. So
