Hey, everyone. Welcome to Dr. Rucho Radio. This is Dr. Rucho. Today, I am here with Dr. Dwight McKee,

and we are going to be undergoing part two of our series on cancer therapy and very excited to have this

conversation. Dwight, welcome to the show. Thanks so much for having me.

Can you tell people a little bit about your background in case of, in case they've never come across your name before?

Sure, sure. I have kind of, that's kind of an unusual career path. I started out

doing an MD PhD program at Case Western Reserve because I've gotten interested in research

when I was in college, in Williams College in biochemistry. So I thought I wanted to do research

and I did the MD PhD in pharmacology, the Case Western Reserve.

It was supposed to be a six-year program, but when I was into it, it was clear there was really a nine or a ten-year program.

And I grew up in Cleveland, and so it was, I think I probably had seasonal affective disorder as well.

So it was kind of closing in on me. And I got very

interested in clinical medicine after I was exposed to it. You know, you never know what you

like until you experience it. And so I ended up, I did a year of research and I had taken all

the courses, all the graduate courses, but I just finished my
