Daphne is a licensed psychologist, author, and international speaker known for her work,

integrating EMDR and internal family systems therapy.

She wrote integrating EMDR and internal family systems therapy. She wrote integrating EMDR and internal family systems therapy and has over 20 years of EMDR experience. She's completed more than 460 hours of IFS training, including work with IFS founder Dr. Schwartz and also practices ancestral healing.

She earned her master's from Niropa and her doctorate from Penn State then completed a post. under Dr. Schwartz and also practices ancestral healing.

She earned her master's from Neuropa and her doctorate from Penn State then completed a postdoc fellowship at the trauma center under Dr. Bezell van der Kolk.

Daphne previously served as military sexual trauma coordinator at the Fort Worth,

V.A., has published on trauma and IFS and now teaches clinicians worldwide

while maintaining a private practice in Dallas. A lot of amazing experience, Stephanie. Damn.

Obviously, just you in a nutshell, but before we could go, share with the listeners where you're from originally and where you are currently.

Yeah.

You know, I'm actually originally from Dallas, Texas.

And then I moved away right after college.

And then I came back when I had my children, came back to be closer to

grandparents that could offer wonderful free child care, which is a blessing. And yeah, so I'm back

to my hometown at Dallas. Awesome. Awesome. So how did this journey, this whole thing, start for you?
