Insurance prices for cargo ships in the Persian Gulf are soaring due to the risk of Iranian attacks.

Broker Ayan says insurers are quoting 5 to 10% of a ship's value for war risk coverage. During peacetime,

rates are typically around a quarter of a percent.

Meanwhile, Apollo Global Management shares slipped in morning trading after one of its private credit

funds said it will enforce a cap on withdrawals. Redemption requests from investors have been

rising, and some asset managers have limited investors' ability to withdraw funds this year.

Private credit managers are facing a reckoning after lending heavily to software firms.

Investors have been looking to reduce their exposure to that sector after high-profile defaults,

and recent restrictions on redemptions have only added to the concerns.

Finally, FedEx is launching a new delivery service called

Same Day Local that offers shoppers two-hour or end-of-day delivery directly at checkout. The package

delivery giant says it's partnering with delivery provider One Rail to connect customers to a

national network of more than 1,000 providers. Amazon last week said it was rolling out one hour and three-hour delivery options across the United States.
