as an evaluation with the intent to help improve.

When you receive criticism, instead think of it as information that can help you grow.

The continued supply of criticism and feedback is a fundamental part of sustained growth

and a key ingredient to success.

If instead of seeking approval, you ask, what's wrong with it?

How can I make it better?

You are more likely to get a truthful, critical answer.

Here's how Elon Musk put it, a well thought out critique is as valuable as gold.

And you should seek that from everyone you can, but particularly your friends.

It doesn't mean your friends are right, but you at least want to listen very carefully

to what they say, and to everyone.
