Disappointing performance, sloppy performance, Gabby.

I guess before we dive into things, before I forget, I want to highlight

I'm not a guy that's like overly gets excited about penalty talk.

Like, oh, the penalties are killing Miami.

The penalties are derailing the chances.

And look, penalties have been an issue this season, no doubt. But I don't

think like penalties were the reason that Miami, for instance, lost to Louisville. I do think

you could make the argument that today penalties really played a significant role in, number one, derailing Miami's drives.

It felt like, you know, Miami was driving the ball down to the SMU side of the field for the majority of the game.

And then some penalties would, you know, kind of knock them back and they'd either

have to punt it etc or they'd go for it on fourth down and wouldn't get it but so it did that

it also you know extended at the end of the game so in the first half the penalties were an issue for the offense and Miami only you know, extended at the end of the game. So in the first half, the penalties were an issue for the

offense and Miami only, you know, Miami honestly, like was the much better team in the first half.

The Jojo interception was unfortunate, kind of gave momentum to SMU for a minute. And then some

penalties were a reason why that Miami only had 10 points at the half.
