A lot of things I want to talk about today, but let's give everyone your background and,

you know, kind of how you got into what it is that you do today.

Well, my background is, and primarily, of course, health care,

different aspects of health care.

I started out doing cardiac rehab when I first got out of graduate school,

and that was the path for me.

I realized that I wanted to work with healthy people.

And so I started working towards that path. I went back to graduate school to do an MBA, and I went to go have a laser hair removal procedure done.

And it was just a really awkward and bad experience.

And when I was speaking to the technician, I asked him what his background was,

and he told me basically he had no college education. He didn't have any medical training,

and he was operating a laser. And I thought, well, man, I can do this better than you. And so I

started looking into it at the age of 28 and was able to secure a laser. It opened up a little

laser clinic in a one room office space that I rented for like $1,400 a month, all utilities

paid with some furniture in there. And it just grew into a really large med spa. And this is in Dallas,

Texas. I was actually one of the, I think I was about the fifth

med spa, if you will, to open back in the early 2000s. And it wasn't even called a med spa.

We didn't even have the term med spa at that point to be able to name it that. That wasn't even

that had never been thought of. We didn't even, I'd never been thought of.
