| 0:15.1 | you know, kind of how you got into what it is that you do today. |
| 0:18.4 | Well, my background is, and primarily, of course, health care, |
| 0:22.5 | different aspects of health care. |
| 0:24.3 | I started out doing cardiac rehab when I first got out of graduate school, |
| 0:27.8 | and that was the path for me. |
| 0:30.1 | I realized that I wanted to work with healthy people. |
| 0:33.7 | And so I started working towards that path. I went back to graduate school to do an MBA, and I went to go have a laser hair removal procedure done. |

| 0:50.3 | And when I was speaking to the technician, I asked him what his background was, |
| 0:54.8 | and he told me basically he had no college education. He didn't have any medical training, |
| 1:00.0 | and he was operating a laser. And I thought, well, man, I can do this better than you. And so I |
| 1:06.2 | started looking into it at the age of 28 and was able to secure a laser. It opened up a little |
| 1:13.0 | laser clinic in a one room office space that I rented for like $1,400 a month, all utilities |
| 1:18.9 | paid with some furniture in there. And it just grew into a really large med spa. And this is in Dallas, |

| 1:30.4 | med spa, if you will, to open back in the early 2000s. And it wasn't even called a med spa. |
