Hello everyone, thanks for joining us for a new episode of Pantsuit Politics.

We're coming off a holiday and we're putting our foot right down on the accelerator with

a pretty dense episode for you today because we wanted to start thinking about instability

in economies and in governments.

We are about to get a report from the January 6th committee.

We are about to transition power to a new Congress and to new governors and legislators

across the country and the conversation is building about 2024 in the United States.

We thought this is a good moment to step way back and talk about instability.

We're going to think about the context for the inflation we're experiencing and the

tools we're bringing to that problem and what happens when economic instability leads

to political instability and people actually lose confidence in their governments.

And then outside of politics, Sarah is going to delight you by talking about her Thanksgiving

in New York.

Before we get started, we want to give you a little holiday save the date.
