Why have you been struggling with this so much?

There's few people that I would say

are truly dangerous. And I would put Ventino in that rare category. One of the things I kept hearing from people still connected to Bintini's world was some

version of the same dismissal. Jacqueline, Keelan, and Jade didn't understand the teachings.

If they had been further along, or more evolved, or more advanced, they would have seen things

differently. The YouTube comments on the series are littered with this perspective, and honestly it's exhausting. I've heard the same shit from every single cult. So what are these grand teachings that they've misunderstood? To clarify that, I ended up talking to Aaron Abke. Aaron grew up as a pastor's son, earning a degree in music and theology and spending

a year as a full-time worship pastor before walking away from evangelical Christianity at age 23.

He eventually found his way to the Law of One and a Course in Miracles, which became the

foundation of his work as a spiritual teacher. He's someone who genuinely loves these teachings, has built a life around them,

and knows them well. I want to explain quickly how this conversation came about because it's kind of

important. It started when Aaron watched Jacqueline's Instaguru interview. He was horrified.

Aaron had his own encounter with Ventino years earlier, and watching her interview pieces

started falling into place that hadn't made sense before.

Then he watched Keelan's interview, and something else clicked.

The way Ben Tino had treated Aaron, the constant gay jokes, the relentless attempts to knock

him down, it was the same playbook he'd used on Keelan, same pattern, different target.
