So we're going to talk about this film starring Al Pacino, Robin Williams, and Hillary Swank.

First, with a fun fact.

Christopher Nolan told Time Magazine talking about this movie that this was the movie where he

sort of learned how to deal with big name actors because all three actors in this movie

had completely different approaches.

Al Pacino insisted on meticulous preparation with serious talks about character motivation and a lot

of takes.

Robin Williams, the late great, preferred hardly any rehearsal, but many takes as well.

And Hillary Swank, the million-dollar baby herself, wished to do a few takes to stay completely focused.

So Nolan therefore let Pacino and Williams freely experiment

work things out together in order to get attuned to each other.
