0:20.1	Now we've been traveling through the catacism meditating on the liturgy and the sacraments and in this
0:29.8	meditation a deeper understanding of the great gift of the mass.
0:36.2	And the catechism gives us a profound insight to the mass.
0:41.0	Now, the greatest event in the history of the world is the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus.
0:48.0	And by this event which we call the Pascal mystery.
0:52.9	Jesus saved us from sin and from death

0:59.2	And he began the whole recreation of the world. The suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus, the
1:08.2	past school mystery. This means all the saving events that took place from the last supper through Good Friday to his descent to the dead on Holy Saturday,

1:24.5	ascension in the mass. The Holy Spirit makes those saving events from the life of Jesus present.
1:37.0	Not in our memory, not in a figure of speech, not in our imagination, those events become truly present.
1:47.0	In fact, the catacism says that in the Eucharist, the church is, as it were, at the foot of the cross we've married united with
1:57.3	the offering and intercession of Christ. In the madness we are at Calvary, united to the sacrifice of Jesus.
