| 1:05.0 | I met with one of our readers in person in New York today and I mentioned and it surprised me when I kind of ran the numbers in my head and mentioned it that TPM has been around for almost 23 years. |

| 1:25.0 | And the most important thing about what we do at TPM is the stuff we publish, the news we publish, the questions that we provide some level of analysis and understanding and commentary on and so on and so forth. |
| 1:44.0 | And we was talking to one of my colleagues a few days ago and we were thinking about some strategic questions about the future of the organization where we should be investing our money, what kind of reporting resources and stuff like that. |
| 1:59.0 | And we were getting into some specifics but I said we should step back and think about what in the current news environment |
| 2:11.0 | with the resources we have. |
| 2:14.0 | How can we bring as many new facts and as much clarity as possible to the political news ecosystem? |
| 2:26.0 | Like that's the fundamental strategic question. |
| 2:29.0 | We can talk about the sort of you know once we once we answer that some more practical ones but that's really that's the fundamental one. |
| 2:39.0 | But for all these fundamental questions none of these fundamental questions get to be asked if the business can't sustain itself. |
| 2:47.0 | If it can't pay the salaries and the benefits and the rent and all that kind of stuff. |
