0:41.9	conversation, and talk a little bit about five years of the Red Nation podcast and 10 years of
0:48.1	the Red Nation organization. Sina, can tell us how you came about the Red Nation podcast?
0:55.6	What's your origin story?
1:12.8	Well, it's very funny. It's nothing. I learned about Nick online. I followed him. We followed each other. I saw his book. I was like, oh, that's a cool book. I got it for a ride. I took a trip across the country and I was reading it across the country. And then I just messaged him and said, hey, do you
1:18.4	want to do an episode of my podcast? My podcast was about 10 months old at that time, maybe a little bit
1:25.1	less. And I would just call message people. I mean,
1:30.0	I still do. People who I have no idea who they like, you know, I don't have any private
1:33.8	previous connection to him. But I just messaged him and then he said, and we and then he came on my
1:41.8	show. And at the end, we talked about, we talked about lots of difference enough. and at the end we talked about we talked about lots of
1:46.1	different stuff and at the end of that episode I said you know does does red nation have a podcast
1:50.6	and he said yeah kind of sort of not really it's you know we have one but we want to kind of revamp
1:57.4	it and I said you know I'm around we can do this and like fast
2:02.1	forward five years and you and me are having this conversation like it's it's a strange
2:07.6	it's a strange phenomenon that like you can spend your entire life it's like especially
2:13.8	personally for me like banging your head against a wall trying to like get a job
2:20.9	and trying to you know just try to like make it in this world and following a script and then one day
2:28.7	you just kind of fall backwards into this whole relationship and professional media relationship that has changed my life
2:36.6	profoundly. I've learned so much from this show, from listening to all the hosts. I joke about this,
2:45.0	but it's not a joke. I mean it. But I really have the best job on the world, like in the world.
