Summary
On the latest MLB offseason edition of Inside the (Rob) Parker, Rob leads off by telling us all why he’s so excited to see Fernando Tatis Jr. return to the field this upcoming season with the San Diego Padres. Tatis Jr. is one of the brightest young stars in the sport and arguably it’s greatest showman so it’s going to be great to see to see him back on the diamond after such a tumultuous 2022. If the young superstar is healthy and focused in 2023, a World Series appearance is definitely in the cards for San Diego. Plus, Rob shares his thoughts on Chris Sale returning to the top of the Boston Red Sox pitching staff following a slew of injuries the past few seasons. People forget that Sale was one of the best pitchers in the Majors as recently as recently as 2018 so the fact that he’s fully healthy heading into the upcoming season is a boon for Boston. Later, former MLB pitcher and father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes – Pat Mahomes – swings by to discuss his thoughts on a few of the rule changes coming to the Major Leagues, how playing baseball as a kid helped to prepare his son to become the greatest quarterback in the NFL whose set to place in his third Super Bowl this Sunday, why it’s so important for young athletes to play different sports as they grow up and much more! Finally, Rob closes the show by explaining why the creators of MLB The Show deserve kudos for the second consecutive week. All of you MLB Bros out there will definitely appreciate this one!
