Vice President Kamla Harris's candidacy is the first of its kind and not just for the obvious reasons.

She's the only candidate in modern history who has had to build her entire campaign while she's running it. You know the story,

Joe Biden dropping out, her rocketing to the nomination in basically 24 hours,

suddenly having to integrate an entire staff figure out a whole new strategy with issues she actually

wanted to run on what states she could target what parts of Biden's legacy she

wanted to keep which one she was going to kick to the curb with just a few

months until election day. That's a hell of a lot of work.

So on today's show I sit down with Brian Fallon, her senior advisor for communications on the

campaign. He's one of her most trusted aides who now has to

figure out all of these humongous problems she faces. Fallon was Hillary

Clinton's press secretary in 2016. He's a former senior staffer for Senator Chuck Schumer a

veteran of the Obama administration and he has that ivy look so thing going on that

tells you maybe he's got some answers speaking Speaking of which, on today's show,

on so many big issues have shifted

when she's going to start talking

to more of us annoying reporters and what she's going to do about
