So we today are working on element two of our five-part series of what makes the mind of great competitors.

And the second element is great competitors

see obstacles as opportunities, not as roadblocks, right?

Because obstacles really are an opportunity

for us to not only have a growth edge, right,

and to grow and change from something that's in front of us that we find difficult,

but it's also an opportunity for us to establish a data point, right?

Obsticle immunity.

When we overcome an obstacle, we establish a data point that gets planted in our brain, in our mind, in our soul, in our heart that we can overcome more. And that's what great competitors do all the

time. Something that's in front of them that's difficult they see as an opportunity.

They get excited for it. They don't feel stuck. They don't pull back from it and

move away from it. They barrel towards it because they know it's going to get them stronger

in the long run, even if they struggle with that obstacle.

It's not necessarily about perfecting it or even blowing by it.

Sometimes the challenge and sometimes the struggle is the opportunity, but that is the second element.

Great competitors see obstacles as opportunities.
