Hey guys, it's Dave Chang here.

We're at the green room here at Major Doma Media Studios down at the row in downtown

Los Angeles and just a fair warning.

We tried to do something that was a fair bit experimental for us.

We tried to record a podcast live in our kitchen when number one, we aren't fully set up.

Our soundproofing is not exactly where it needs to be.

In fact, it doesn't quite exist at all.

But I wanted to show you guys where we're at and make mistakes along the way as we build

this whole venture out.

One of the things that's happened with podcasts and YouTube and how people consume content

in general, people will watch it on video now.

And one of the things that we've always had an issue with is we don't react to things

like in sports or most of the things in culture.

For the most part, I'd say it's like 75% food and 25% cultural stuff.

But what we've been missing is a visual element to be able to converse, to be able to react

to something that's happening, to talk about mundane things, the things in cooking and

just daily life that normally get edited out.

So we wanted to go ahead and see if we could try this.

Sometimes you'll find out Chris and I are talking about something that may not make any

sense to you because you don't have a visual element.

And that's on us.

Fully apologize for that because we're trying to make this podcast live in the kitchen.
